If you start today, we âll throw in the following bonuses and resources for FREE so you save even more time and money getting started teaching!
YES!! You can teach ANYWHERE! Your gym, a country club, a yoga studio - anywhere you want! (If you want to teach at one of the large franchises, they'll normally require that you are trained by them too.) But the certification is ACE approved and is recognized world wide!
We took a lot of time, energy and pride in the fact that our program was accepted and accredited by the American Council on Exercise. This is one of the PREMIER certifying bodies in the US, and is recognized worldwide as a certification provider!
NOOOOOO!! What makes us different is that we will teach you a series of exercises and how to put them together and you can design the class that best suits you and your clients. Every class can be different. You will NOT be teaching the same barre class for three months.
YES! One of my goals is to teach you how to structure classes and how to be a great instructor. If you want to create fusion classes that are part barre, part yoga, part bootcamp, part dance - GREAT! We want you to LOVE what you do.
YES! Safety is so important. Your manual, as well as your Anatomy and Kinesiology module will teach you about common injuries, and how to work with them in classes.
One of the things that makes us different than many barre brands is that you will learn a series of exercises that can be incorporated into a class to provide cardio. We believe that with a 60 minute class, it is more fun, challenging, and transformational to combine cardio intervals with blocks of resistance. This will keep your class and body changing!!!
We make it as simple as possible. We want to know that you have the skills and training to teach your first class, and we want to give you the feedback that will make you a better instructor! You will have a short written exam that deals with modifications and how to modify in case of injuries. You will also submit a 60 minute class video that you will upload to a private youtube channel that shows you teaching 3 or more of your friends. This is your opportunity to get individual feedback and help with your certification process!!
That's ok! We have an entire section on musicality, how to design a class with the music, how to use the music to count repetitions, how to use music to motivate and encourage the class, and where to get the music that you will use for your classes.
